🏝️ The Vision Behind Caribbean Trivia
Caribbean Trivia was conceived to celebrate, document, and democratize access to the rich tapestry of West Indian and Latin American Carnival heritage.
From the birth of the steelpan in Laventille and the historic calypso social commentary of Lord Kitchener and Mighty Sparrow, to the vibrant mas traditions of Trinidad Carnival, Bahamas Junkanoo, Barbados Crop Over, Grenada Spicemas, Rio de Janeiro, and Barranquilla — the project provides an engaging, educational game show experience for the Caribbean diaspora, students, travelers, and cultural enthusiasts worldwide.
Engineered with a privacy-first local architecture, real-time audio synthesis, and multilingual questions spanning over 30 Caribbean territories, Caribbean Trivia turns regional pride into interactive learning.
